As you know, this is the Official Discussion Post. If you feel like chatting, and we hope you do, pop in here and let us know how it's going. Please do not discuss your fic/art. Anything goes!

I posted this drinks recipe in the notification post the other day, but I'll repeat it for inspiration here as well:

"Dawn Special"

5 cl vodka (noticed that my recipe book actually notes that "the vodka can be substituted with gin, rum or sake if you have those on hand")
1 lime
1 tablespoon honey
1 rock sugar stick (you know, those wooden sticks with rock sugar)

Cut the lime in smaller pieces, and muddle them with honey in the shaker. Add crushed ice and vodka. Shake a little and pour into a low-ball glass. Add a rock sugar stick and stir lightly before serving.

The talk show is already a chaotic mess at times, what wouldn't it amount to if they all were drinking blue cocktails with little plastic sharks? (Would 58 kg Pozzovivo start slurring his speech after one or two drinks?)

I had nachos (with tomatoes and refried beans and plain yogurt as dip, plus some melted shredded cheese). Since I'm starting on a full tummy, it may take me longer than usual to get into proper drunk-fic mode.

So the universe is trying to get in my way - we didn't have our usual Friday night drinks with dinner (because reasons, totally legit), and then I got a frantic text message from a colleague that required me to do an extra half-hour of work right after dinner ... but I recently rewatched Jurassic Park and my motto is SMUT FINDS A WAY!!!

I'll just bring up some extra alcohol to enjoy while writing, since I didn't have a chance to lay down a base during dinner. It's all good! Hm, maybe I can throw something together with that new bottle of chocolate-flavored Baileys and the extra chocolate milk I accidentally wound up with. And ice cream! (But I'm starting with alcoholic ginger beer and diet cherry pepsi.)

Just got home from work and gonna craft me a Super-Spicy Margarita right now -- my special blend that includes jalapeno-infused pickles and frozen-fruit cubes (that's like ice cubes but made with fruit juice). Then...The Drunkening shall begin!

Well, I think it's time to eat the jalapeno-infused pickles that I put in my Jalapeno Pickle Margarita.
