Quick clarification for newbies: you don't have to use all the prompts--though that does make for a fun fic!--but since one of the categories for voting is "Best Use of Prompt" we do recommend using at least one. We try to have a few prompts each round that are not HP-specific.

As you know, this is the Official Discussion Post. If you feel like chatting, and we hope you do, pop in here and let us know how it's going. Please do not discuss your fic/art. And just so we're clear, you don't have to write pr0n, though it definitely makes for interesting reading when characters change right in the middle of shagging because you're too drunk to remember who you're writing about. ;) You can write for any fandom (including original), but though we're getting more diversity, we're still fairly HP-focused. Anything goes!

So, I'm hungry -- haven't eaten since lunch-time and now it's 9:00 PM -- but I don't want food to undermine any of The Drunkening. Well, I think it's time to eat the jalapeno-infused pickles that I put in my Jalapeno Pickle Margarita. That's two Margs now -- I think I'll make something else for my next cocktail, but still with tequila....

I am a flexitarian omnivore...AND...all my home-cooking is vegetarian or vegan.

i like that phrase. I'm way way too lazy to be vegan. (Cant be bothered with reading all the labels. Also cheese is love. ) But I can see trying to cut down on meat overall.

I think I'm tdfunk enought to open up the fic and give finishign it a showt.

About 99% of vegan cheese alternatov products are bleh to me, bur I rhink that the Violife btamd is raelly good. I use it fr mu home-made pizzas and tacos and tostadas and for "melt" sandowiches.

Uhm...still commeting here means I still ahvn't contiuned my fic. Gotta go do some of that nwo, yaaaas.

I just made a tofu salad sandwich, and in a while I'll have some broccoli florets with spicy dip.

I bought an air fryer months ago and haven't even started using it yet. Still trying to figure out how to make space on my crowded kitchen counter.

Broccoli w/dip is such a classic. I've never had a tofu salad sando but that sounds good.

I start with firm or extra-firm tofu that I freeze, then thaw, then squeeze out the excess moisture -- the freezing and thawing makes the tofu more sponge-like to better absorb flavors. Then I shred it by hand and mix it with mustard and vegan mayo, and then I add capers and diced onions. Yum.

oo I see! Yeah tofu is at its best when it can soak up all the complimentary flavors. Capers are so great.

Have you ever tried FRIED capers? I didn't even know that was a thing until I saw a recipe for it about two weeks ago. Gonna try it some time soon.

Absolutely every kitchen needs to be larger. All of them. I've never been in a kitchen and thought, "Yes, this is more than enough counter space."

Also, I think I might be sobering up becuase I had the fleeting thought that everything I've written so far is crap and I shouldjust delete it. I need to finish my drink and get back to my "brilliant" story.

No, don't look back at that fic. You know that with FWF fic you're supposed to just keep going forward!

My kitchen is small and I know that your kitchen is deffo small. I have seen country kitchens in farmhouses where I thought there was a reasonable amount of counter space, but never in the city or even in the suburbs.
