As you know, this is the Official Discussion Post. If you feel like chatting, and we hope you do, pop in here and let us know how it's going.
And just so we're clear, you don't have to write pr0n, though it definitely makes for interesting reading when characters change right in the middle of shagging because you're too drunk to remember who you're writing about. ;) You can write for any fandom (including original), but keep in mind the majority of our players are HP people. Anything goes!

You will receive an email from us confirming that we got it. If you don't get an email, we didn't get it. Your fics/art will be due by noon on Tuesday, April 25th. Voting will begin later that evening and last until Saturday April 29th at midnight.

You can discuss ideas, drinks, how wasted you are, how to save the Earth, why the Lorax is your spirit animal, how you plan to spend the summer, or whatever floats your boat. Just don't discuss your fic/art. This is an anonymous fest until after the reveal, and we don't want hints being given as to what you're writing about.

Date: 2017-04-23 02:01 am (UTC)you know that fic you wrote where harry and draco are in the broom shed? I don't remember the name of it. I think about hat fic a lot, and what I ihtnkn about tit is that harry has absolutely no part of himself that is shamed. Draco keeps trying to shame him and it doesn't stick to harry at all. everything that harry is doing sexually is just what it is and he has no judgement about it. And that really stayed with me. And how his lack of shame, his impervoiousness to it, ends up tanslforming draco as well. It's beautiful. I know it's a kind of cracky fic but in an other way it's a very powerful story about the power of not letting oneself be shamed.

You know, I do have to wonder if, even through a cranky premise as that, I might have been workjing rhough my own shame issues, and how I wish I could go back and not feel the shame I felt about whoI was. I'm moved that you got so much out of that story, truly. And thank you for this comment. I've run out of financial aid (hahahaha!), but maybe I can audit enough classes when I'm working to get that MFA after all. ;) I appreciate the vote of confiedence, drunk or not. <3 (Also, 'More than One Way to Polish a Broom'. At least I think that's the name! LOLOL!)
