Hey, everyone! How are you doing out there? Did everyone survive intact? We hope no one suffered any morning after ill-effects. :)

If you turned in your piece, by now you should have gotten confirmation from either sdk or myself (or possibly both of us!). If you've emailed it in but didn't hear back, we haven't got it. Please send it in again! Our email is fwfdrunkmods@gmail.com.

You have until midnight EDT Sunday to turn in your piece if you haven't already. Remember, no editing allowed! If you passed out before you finished or need to add a header, that's acceptable, but no correcting or editing with the fics and/or art itself.

We'll be posting all pieces anonymously on Monday all in one go and then voting will commence! A post on voting will go up then as well, with all the details.

We are so excited to share all of the drunken masterpieces!! :D

We had floral daiquiris with dinner (sushi) tonight, but not for the purpose of Drunkening for the purpose of Writening! Just to enjoy.

I admire your perseverance and I am cheering you on!!! YAYZ for the story coming along!!! And you are finally making typos, w00t!!!

TODS found the floral daiquiri recipe somewhere and it's amazing ... lavender syrup, elderflower liqueur, creme de violette, white rum, lime juice, and muddled blueberries. Sooooo yummy! You might find it a little sweet, but it's a very delicate flavor, not a heavy one.

TODS is very (and rightfully) proud of his home bar. :-)

I will say that creme de violette is an extremely recent addition - we were looking for something else at the local Spec's (eeee, I love typing those words) and I spotted it on the shelf and said WE HAVE TO GET THIS. We had Kir made with it one of the times we visited France and it was the most delicious Kir ever, and we usually have Kir with sushi, so now I get a violet Kir nearly every week. :-) I think TODS found this recipe when he was looking to see what else we could make with it.
