Hey, everyone! How are you doing out there? Did everyone survive intact? We hope no one suffered any morning after ill-effects. :)

If you turned in your piece, by now you should have gotten confirmation from either sdk or myself (or possibly both of us!). If you've emailed it in but didn't hear back, we haven't got it. Please send it in again! Our email is fwfdrunkmods@gmail.com.

You have until midnight EDT Sunday to turn in your piece if you haven't already. Remember, no editing allowed! If you passed out before you finished or need to add a header, that's acceptable, but no correcting or editing with the fics and/or art itself.

We'll be posting all pieces anonymously on Monday all in one go and then voting will commence! A post on voting will go up then as well, with all the details.

We are so excited to share all of the drunken masterpieces!! :D

Likewise! Although I've yet to actually attempt a two-day FWF. ;)

I'm actually not sure if the headache was a hang-over or lack of sleep.
Anyway, I had an appointment yesterday about watching the movie "The Velocipastor". The post-film drinks strangely helped somewhat, haha.

But tonight I'm staying away from alcohol!

For me it's day THREE of the FWF -- I often go two days but this is the first time I'm going three --and yeah, I am getting a headache but I won't let it daunt me.

For a moment there I thought that "VelociPastor" was a typo and that you meant "Velociraptor," but then I looked it up and OMG I so want to see that now!

It is indeed not a typo! If you get the chance to watch this movie, by all means do so! It's absolutely ridiculous, but in a good way. :D
It both knows it's a bad movie, and yet plays it straight, complete with flashbacks to Vietnam and a (way too long) montage during a love scene, haha.
(And a visible safety pin at the back of one of the priests' (cheap costume-shop) cassocks...)
I laughed so hard I cried several times through the viewing, and my colleague, who'd suggested we all go and see it, told us beforehand that the first two times he watched it, he fell off his chair laughing.

Prolonging the FWF over three days sounds equally tempting and daunting! And in a way it suits me just fine to drink one evening/night, type furiously away, fall asleep and send the results off the following day. XD

I find it challenging enough to attend music festivals where you drink alcohol for three-four days in a row.
And I don't even get drunk-drunk at those, LOL.
