And just so we're clear, you don't have to write pr0n, though it definitely makes for interesting reading when characters change right in the middle of shagging because you're too drunk to remember who you're writing about. ;) You can write for any fandom (including original), but though we're getting more diversity, we're still fairly HP-focused. Anything goes!

Okay, side-by-side taste test, I prefer the rum over the vodka, but I think that might be because the vodka is stronger and I n eed more juice to balance it out. Next experiment involves extra triple sec and extra lemon syrup.

Unscientifically, I tend to prefer rum but there was the one time my neighbor and I were drinking 151 and we were absolutely smashed. That's the kind of alcohol that'll dissolve your liver on contact, I think.

Not participating in this round because it's my husband's birthday weekend and it's the first time we are going OUT to party for his birthday since 2019 (his 2020 birthday party was scheduled for the last weekend of March and by then the COVID lockdown was in effect). I still wanted to drop in here at FWF to let all y'all know ILEITB even when I'm partying elsewhere...and to tell you what I'm drinking at this Greek restaurant where we are having his party. Because I am always one for trying new-to-me cocktails 🍸 -- especially if they are a place's "signature cocktail" -- I got the restaurant's signature Greek Mule (Mastiha, Ginger Beer, Lime Juice)...well, eventually I had two of them. Then my husband chose a bottle of Greek wine (Maleatis Agiorgitiko, a smokey red with soft tannins) and we split the bottle.
