Smart!! I'm actually trying to clear out my liquor cabinet--finish bottles that are half-empty or less. That's why I started with the Pimms. It only had about 1 large serving left. Not sure what I'll have next though. Might be gin. Might be rum.

There are times when I've started Firewhiskey with plot bunnies bouncing away and a story that was already half-"written" as I pondered the prompts in a long bath.

Tonight, I come in with nada.

And just as I logged on to the computer, I saw I had FIVE comments (by the same person) on an old fic so I'm about to go see what they are. (Five comments by the same person is usually a good sign, but I have just occasionally faced those chain comments from the person who felt the need to point out everything wrong with each chapter. So .... hoping for the best, but bracing myself...)

I had to ruen off all my authocrorect. Honestly, it's better anyway, I end up with far fewer really bad autocorrects. A friend of mine, she used to send her kids to a summer camp when they were little and it was called "Nature Tots" for some reason her phone (and this was like over 10 years ago now) changed it to "Mature Tits". NOT WHAT YOU WANT on pics of like 4-5 year olds. :/ ROFL

Woot! I rarely think about keeping decaf coffee on hand since, for the most part, my primary reason for consuming coffee is the caffeine. But ... I can totally see the appleal of it for coffee-flavored drinks like kahlua and coffee.

Happens every time. Interacting in comments during FWF is so much fun that it slows down my drinking and ficcing. Gonna focus on the Mezcal Margaritas and the fic now. Occasionally still commenting of course but not so much as up to now.

Anyone here getting comments at AO3 that aren't quite spam but then, sort of once you know what to look for, (like lack of any concrete reference to the work itself) you realize, they are? I had a really nice one a few weeks ago and then after I replied, I got the "let's take this to another platform so I can try to scam you" follow up comment. What a bummer.

I got one that gently critiqued my writing as "heterosexist" and cisnormative" - this was on a fic in which a bunch of coworkers were celebrating a M/M/M threesome that had recently come out - and then got a very similar one that made similar comments about the writing ... on a vid I had just posted, which is when I realized that they were both AI. Annoying.
