Poems count, too, right? I can't imagine what I will think is iambic pentameter after a couple of drinks. Given how many poets were alcoholics, though, perhaps I will compose my life's masterpiece. It could go either way.

I feel like FWF always can go either way. I have written pretty fine fics (once I cleaned them up a bit) and I have also written worse garbage than usual. LOL But, yes, poetry is fine.

A Friday instead of a Saturday...well, I'll be here for it, but don't know what time I can get started with all y'all 'cause I work outside the home and don't get home at the same time every night.

I had the most fabulous time with the previous Firewhiskey Fic -- which was my first one ever -- and I am so looking forward to doing it again!

We do try to mix it up a bit but of course I will admit that we also consider when we are available to host. LOL Though the joke's kinda on me as I think my actual participation may be limited this round. Fingers crossed for both of us, eh? :D

Hey, I'm getting a Covid booster shot that day and I reacted really strongly to the first two so... Hell, yeah, combine that with alcohol and let's see what happens!

Oh boy!! Well, we don't want you to do anything you shouldn't. Maybe one or two drinks will be enough. Or hell, if you feel really poorly we could count that as intoxicated. :D

If it's like the first couple of times, I'll be running a fever so that may well qualify on its own.

I did ask my doctor last time round and they said it wasn't a problem to have a drink as long as I wasn't taking painkillers and I didn't take them.

You have to start early because you work Saturday and I have to start late because I work Friday. Fortunately, Firewhiskey Fic goes on for long enough to "accommodate" both of us. *g*

Being a lightweight definitely helps! I usually get started writing after I've finished one drink and started the second but I rarely even get to a third one.
