Starting a few minutes early because I'm going to have to jump up shortly. Hopefully, some of the 'old crowd' will keep an eye on things while sdk and I are awful hostesses. LOL

How's everyone doing? Both my daughter and mom got the 2nd COVID vaccine within the last couple days and feel like shit. Yay. :| But still also *\o/* one step closer to normalcy.

That's great that they got both doses of the vaccine, but I'm sorry they're not feeling great from it. My mom's got her first one and did really well with it, for which I'm grateful! I'm going to see if I can get on a list?? I've been told I might be eligible already, being a 'public-facing' worker, or something like that?

Apparently the 2nd dose of Moderna is the one that knocks you on your ass. But yeah, 2 days of flu-like symptoms and then you're good? I'll take it.

I know here grocery store workers and the like are in the group that can get vaccinated now but I'm not sure about where you are.

Heyyyyy! I'm not drinking yet (will probably start in a couple hours, which is 6pm for me), but I bought a nice bottle of pinot noir specifically for this. There are snow flurries and it's very, very cold, so I'm just going to get under a blanket here in my writing chair when the time comes and write the words. \o/ And probably get up and dance here and there, because that's what I do with a couple, three, four glasses of wine in me. ;P

Thank you for continuing to run firewhiskeyfic! I have to "abstain" this time because I'm currently writing fic for a ficathon that has a Sunday deadline and if I drunkenly stagger away from it to write something else I risk missing the deadline for finishing the WIP.

I haven't started to write, but I have started to drink!

A friend actually donated some old booze to the cause (she's not much of a drinker). I have a bottle of champagne which I don't like so I'm mixing it with pomegranate-flavored Crystal Light because that's how I roll. I also have some frozen berries that are now marinating in a mixture of champagne and blueberry wine.

I have named the file. (I feel like I'm cheating slightly by naming the fic before I've got a proper buzz on.) And I pasted the prompts at the bottom of the document in the hopes that I'll remember to work them in somehow.
