And just so we're clear, you don't have to write pr0n, though it definitely makes for interesting reading when characters change right in the middle of shagging because you're too drunk to remember who you're writing about. ;) You can write for any fandom (including original), but keep in mind the majority of our players are HP people. Anything goes!

I haven't started writing yet. On my first rum-and-coake. (I know we're not allowed to edit sober later, but can we edit drunk? Even drunk-me can recognize, "That is not how you spell coke.")

I should probably figure out dinner before my second drink. (On an empty stomach, I'm already feeling a teensy bit buzzed and I haven't even finished my first drink!)

I just got a great idea! for... a work-in-progress completely unrelated to the prompts. Shoving it aside for later.

I'm pretty sure that i am buzzed enough to start writing now. (I was editing icons while I killed time and it hit the point where everything was taking twice as long as it should {but I think it's still pretty so yay} and yeah.)

I clicked on "Track this" to at least get notified of new threads. (But then I accidentally forgot to unselect "email me" which, no I don't need that many emails. But I got that fixed and now my Dreamwidth inbox shows me new top-level comments and replies to my own comments.) So, um, click "Track This" but then click other options and be sure to unselect "email" and then decide if you just want to know about new "top-level" posts or every single comment-to-a-comment which I expect will be excessive.)

Also, definitely on my way to being drunk so "keeping up" is not a priority anyway. At this point, I'm just stalling before I start typing.

Neville moments: What's your favourite!

He actually does quite well throughout the books. Given he gets the points to get them over the line in book 1.

I think my favourite has to be book 6. I guess it's not his moment so much as McGonagellel's (Not going to look up how her name should be spelt) But her telling him basically it's okay not to be what his granma wants and the play to his own strengths is ace.

eta: Also I greatly admire the book version of his confrontation with Voldemort over the films. In the book, there's just a simple delcaration that he'll never join Voldemort and bam. decapitation. The film speech is pretty cliche but the drawn out fight with Nagini is pretty cool as well.

I had forgotten until I did a recent PS reread that he started a fist fight with Crabbe and Goyle in the Quidditch stands and ended up in the hospital wing. Rawr.

I have written my fic and sent it on it's way (and titles are hard when y our tipsy!). But it's done and so am I!

Yeah, I had the same problem and took a uqick shot of rum to try and "Fix" my writing brain. Straight aloocohol taste like cough syrup. Ugh. Still trying to get the taste out of my mouth. I like fluffy mixed drinks. I do not have the chonstution to drink this stuff straight.
