Firewhiskeyfic is FRIDAY, February 13! So don't start drinking yet--at least not for the event! :D
For this Valentine event, we highly recommend these 30 Romantic Valentine’s Day Drinks!
We've got two very romantic ones this round. Perhaps a Raspberry Mimosa with Sorbet sounds like your thing.
Or maybe Love Potion No 9 suits your fancy!
The festivities will begin at 10PM GMT/5PM EST/2PM PST on Friday February 13! Hopefully, the time works for you but remember that you can come and go as you please, start early, leave late. It's all good as long as while you are writing, you're drinking. :D
We are hosting on our DW community again this round. If you do not have a DW account (yet *g*), you should be able to comment with OpenID or anonymously.

A rundown of the rules. A more thorough explanation will be posted on the night of the event.
1. This round will take place on Friday, February 13, 10PM GMT/5PM EST/2PM PST (and last until you finish or pass out). Due to sucky time zones mucking everything up, if you'd like to start earlier or later, that's fine!
2. Your fic and/or art will be due approximately 48 hours from the challenge start time. For this round, that means Sunday, February 15 by midnight your time. (We would prefer to turn them in the same night or the next morning, but we understand drunk/hangover emailing might be a tad too challenging.)
Please note: The extra time provided may not be used for editing or adding on or fixing typos, etc. (If you were too drunk to add a header, please add one when sober. ;)) Also note: NO BETAS ALLOWED. We recommend you don't even look at or reread your submission before turning it in. (You can be surprised right along with the rest of us!)
3. Submissions will be posted anonymously on February 16th and voting will be open for various categories through Friday, February 20th. Please vote! (But not for yourself! :P)
4. All fandoms are welcome! We've traditionally been very HP-focused here, but we absolutely welcome any and all fandoms!
5. And finally, you must be of legal drinking age in your country in order to participate.

6. This is a 420-friendly event for those who'd like an alternative to alcohol.

Their response: “Oh, so you’ll need booze!” I told them quickly—before they could list what they had on hand—that soju worked best for me for this purpose, and my brother-in-law told me exactly where to find it at the local liquor store!
