Not that many years ago, a 12-pack went for about $6 full price, but you could nearly always find that either Pepsi or Coke was on sale for only $4 for a 12-pack (though sometimes you had to buy multiples to get that price). And since I'm not a brand loyalist, I'd just buy whichever brand was cheapest. Now I sometimes look at the prices and just don't buy any at all, because even the "sale" prices are more than full price used to be. It's so annoying. Give me this one vice! Let me drink fizzy drinks at a price I can afford!
My favorite energy drinks were Venom which were pre-priced at $0.99 and now even those have gone up to $1.29 (and they are harder to find as more expensive competitiors are taking over the shelves).
