Considering the typos that are there right from the start, clearly you started The Drunkening before you started writing. Go you for being such an exemplar of the spirit of FWF!
That having been said, I just really REALLY loved the story itself -- the construction and the denouement. I do ship Finch/Reese, so yes, I was pre-set to have feels...and I had a moment of "oh no, it looks like it's gonna be the 'it was all a dream' trope," but then the bit with the graveyard dirt in Finch's shoes really saved it, elevated it to "wow, that's spooky" and "love is stronger than death".
