Quick clarification for newbies: you don't have to use all the prompts--though that does make for a fun fic!--but since one of the categories for voting is "Best Use of Prompt" we do recommend using at least one. We try to have a few prompts each round that are not HP-specific.

As you know, this is the Official Discussion Post. If you feel like chatting, and we hope you do, pop in here and let us know how it's going. Please do not discuss your fic/art. And just so we're clear, you don't have to write pr0n, though it definitely makes for interesting reading when characters change right in the middle of shagging because you're too drunk to remember who you're writing about. ;) You can write for any fandom (including original), but though we're getting more diversity, we're still fairly HP-focused. Anything goes!

Well, we Scandinavians (and Dutch and north-Germans) really love us some ammonium-chloride-flavoured candy.
Liquorice is after all the best when it comes with a health warning because of a risk of raised blood pressure if you eat too much of it. ;)
And at some point, we thought of combining distilled liquor with salty liquorice. :D Wikipedia has a whole article on the Salmiakki Koskenkorva.
If you like salty liquorice, it's a really nice drink, but if you're not accustomed to it, it might be quite, er, tough to drink. *g*
(I've met American exchange students who thought Sambucca was hard to take as a shot, whereas my classmates in high school drank it from tumblers, straight, when we visited Rome.)

Okay, okay, I think I am ACTUALLY officially late, because is proper Late and Dark here (and also Cold, but that's by the by).

The important thing is that I have been trying to make one of these things since someone told me about it during Snowflake Challenge in January and this is the first one I've managed. I am acutally Here For It. I am calling that the win before I even write a word.

Anyway, I have zero fic ideas, but I do have Salted Caramel Baileys and Japanese gangsters* to occupy me while I am getting drunk. So, who knows, right?


*On the laptop in a TV show. I am pleased to confirm there are no actual Japanese gangsters in my house...

G&Ts are always nice! When I went to a music festival some years ago (of the sort where you camp next to the concert area), I found out that G&T is the one drink that works even when the ingredients only are as cold as they can get from lying on the ground underneath your tent during the night. :)

They're a really easy going drink all round.

I usually make cocktails or drink wine for this event but my stomach is saying "nope, G & Ts it is tonight!"

Now to select which of my 20+ gins to use. :D

Indeed! Not a bad prize! And then there was that one time where the winner of a women's race won a box of sex toys! XD But she actually thought it was a step up from winning vacuum cleaners and other "house-wifey" things.

Sadly, so far no male riders have been presented with a box of assorted sex toys on the podium. :(
It's only dried ham, aforementioned salmon and live piglets for them. (Cycling has the BEST prizes!)

If you can get your hands on a bottle, I can only recommend it! :) Just remember to shake it vigorously, otherwise most of the liquorice will be stuck to the bottom.

My random G&T story. They are my BFF's drink of choice and when she and I lived further apart than we do now, we met up to attend a baseball game together for my birthday. Anyway, we got double G&Ts at the stadium and wow, they were strong but soooo good. Only needed the one to get the job done. LOL Still one of the best birthdays I've ever had.
