So sorry I'm late commenting. Your storytelling is fabulously effective, and that includes the delightful use of the prompts. You make me feel for your touch-starved Fraser, and when Ray arrives, it's wonderfully fitting to change the perspective with such words as How can he hold these two thoughts in his mind at once :)
