Yes, it's been a while since a Friday night drink felt as well-earned as this one! To be fair to my boss, the last two times we were selling books at similar events we ended up with too many unsold books, so I can't fault him to be a bit conservative this time. Who would've thought the local vicar was a bigger draw than a footballer (soccer player) who'd played in big, international clubs!
