I was determined to participate tonight, but it's been a long day. First selling books at a reception. My boss had ordered 30 of the new books and 10 of the author's previous book, thinking it would be more than enough. When the dust settled 3 hours later, I'd sold all 30, the 3 we had in stock at work, at least 10 of the author's own stock and 5 of the previous book. Then there was a board meeting at my housing cooperative (I'm the chairman).
I've had my first rum & coke, and am listening to whatever psychobilly Spotify is throwing at me. Warmed up by reading a Wout van Aert/Mathieu van der Poel-fic and discussing another cyclist's muscle tone with a friend on Messenger. This night (it's already half past 11 in the evening here) is going to be interesting!
