I don't get off work until after 6:00 PM EDT, so I'll be a bit late to log in -- and once I get home it will take a little while to get The Drunkening into effect -- but happily FWF is "designed" for arrivals being at various times.

Not at home. I very rarely drink whisky but foolishly *g* got MG hooked on Islay.

He belongs to a whisky society where they get together and drink various Scottish distilleries offerings in 'verticals' - flights from the same distillery.

Ah, I was going to be envious of this being a thing that I thought you and he did at home...because it's something I'd enjoy doing at home with my DH, but he only drinks one type at a time, doesn't like to do flights. Now that I know you are talking about an "outside" whisky society I'm wondering if there's something like that near me.

Same. It's FWF and a few times a year with my neighbors. Otherwise I'd probably never drink at all. LOL

Besides, I still have alcoholic ginger beer left from last time. What better use for it than FWF?

I have plenty of ginger beer in my well-stocked liquor cellar. It would be fun to try to time it so we have a ginger beer "together" during FWF.

(I'm also planning on mixing up a batch of Espresso Martinis this FWF. Coffee plus alcohol FTW!)
