Hey, everyone! How are you doing out there? Did everyone survive intact? We hope no one suffered any morning after ill-effects. :)

If you turned in your piece, by now you should have gotten confirmation from either sdk or myself. If you've emailed it in but didn't hear back, we haven't got it. Please send it in again! Our email is fwfdrunkmods@gmail.com.

You have until midnight EDT Sunday to turn in your piece if you haven't already. Remember, no editing allowed! If you passed out before you finished a header, that's acceptable to add to, but no correcting or messing with the fics and/or art itself.

We'll be posting all pieces anonymously on Monday all in one go and then voting will commence! A post on voting will go up then as well, with all the details.

We are so excited to share all of the drunken masterpieces!! :D

Are you allowed to add the appropriate html-tags? When I wrote yesterday I italicized a couple of words here and there, because I didn't trust my ability to close the tags properly (yes, I'll usually write the tags in the text as I go along). Is it within the rules to add html-tags to those words now?
I mean, I'm neither adding nor removing anything from what I wrote yesterday, just making sure the intended emphasis is kept.

Do you want the fic in the email-body directly, or as an attached file?
When I copy-pasted my fic into the email, it really messed up the line-breaks, so I'd prefer to send it as an attached file.

Regarding html: I'd say correct what you've got there because we've all seen what happens with wonky html in FWF entries and none of it's good. Lol but don't go and add it places you wish you'd used it, if you follow me.

And yeah, a file is fine.

Thanks to the covid booster, I was running a temp of 104 and shivering by the time I crawled into bed last night.

What with that and the drinking I have no bloody idea/recollection of what I wrote and I refuse to look so that'll be a surprise on Monday... although if I can work out which one is mine I might still not read it then. :D

I think we've had people get drunk again to be able to finish a fic but IDK it seems like usually momentum or the direction has been lost. Better to just let it flow in one sitting (when possible, of course).
