Title:A Returning Gathering

Summary:Of All [people Zabini thinks they should socialise.

Zabini is the one to mention it. A Muggle game for those who have returned to Hogwarts. To show faith. Hermione only half listens after that part but she gets the most of it. The Eighth years. The ones that don't fit in. He says it might teach them something and then all eyes turn to Hermione. She glares at them, if she is brutally honest. The shared common room is something shehas hated from the start. It irks her that torturers like Malfoy, and yes, Zabini get to have a second chance to fix their results while Hermione is merelyt finishing her education.
Perhaps that is why she declares the most vindictive game she knows, "spin the bottle!"
"Can't say i've heard of that one, Granger."
"No one asked you, Smith,£ snarks Hermione, " WE have a bottle and we spin it with our hands. Then the person it lands on is asked a person by the person who spun it. Unless you prefer the automatic snog version?"
A dim roar answers that question and Hermions nods before producing an old pumpkin juice bottle from her bag. The group eyes it warily.
"Oh behave," she drunts before violently spinning it by the narrow end. It lands firmly on Tracy Davis who appears mildly alarmed.
"Why did you come back to Howarts after you did your exams next year?"
The quiet brunette stares around the circle in defience for a few moments before glaring, "To make sure I qualify for a position in the Ministry and to guarentee that it never ever happens again! And Merlin I don't think last results count."
A halfblood herself, that Hermione never understood being able to attend before, she seizes the bottle and thrists it around.
It ;ands on Dracp Malfoy who stillshimself before nodding.
" You could have put loads of kids in detention but you didn't. Were you protecting them?"
Everyone looks at him and then he nods."They were fucking eleven. Now let me spin this stupid crap."
It lands on Hermione befcaose of course it does, " You cursed Potter to protect him didn't you>"
"Of course I did," she snarls defianelt before spunning it once more. It lands on Susan Bones and more painful memories come free. They end up becoming one of the closes classes Hogwarts has never seen. Too md it took so much to make it so.
