I wish I had read more of those imaginative drabbles of yours. I vividly recall one where Snape was blind, because it actually haunts me. Harry had gone to some shop of his...the rest is a blur. I think of dead eyed Aragog when I see Snape's eyes in my mind. You did that, Don't think your writing isn't powerful.
