It's a 1960's action series set in the North African desert during WWII.
I did get a kick out the disconnect between the main character and his captor's view of reality though.
I am absolutely tickled that you were able to pick up on that given the mysterious unknown fandom AND the drunkenly typing author!!! Woo-hoo!!!
