Well, I've been drinking for long enough now that I'm ready to start drunk!writing again. I do intend to make cocktails tonight eventually with my new cocktail shaker set and the ice cubes I finally made...but so far with the local temp in the low 30s Fahrenheit I haven't felt like having a cold drink so I've been drinking alcohol-laced coffee all afternoon. (And to keep me very awake while drunk I'm using this pistachio-flavored high-caff coffee "Wake the Hell Up" brand.)

I asked this very late last night -- it may have been after a lot of participants had "left" for the night -- so I'm asking again. Anybody know about buttermilk cocktails? I have some buttermilk left over from recently making "Pan de Elote" and I'm considering making buttermilk cocktails with that.
