I googled towns named "Hollow" in the northeast to see if there was a plausible place to set this story (already having the line "Sleepy Hollow or Godric's Hollow or whatever" in my head) and ... so many! So so many places named Hollow AND it turns out that Jared Padalecki's previous show was set in a town called "Stars Hollow" and so I had to throw that one in there too. :-)
