Yes, a real live cow. :D It went to live on Bernard Hinault's farm in Brittany afterwards. Strangely enough Rolf didn't feel like tending to a cow in between riding his bike. ;)

There are lots of farmers' sons among the cyclists (Rolf wasn't one of them). One ended his career to become a representative of a tractor/farming machine company.
